September 2024 Release Notes

We are excited to preview the news here that we will add several new fields to our Profiles record called r_skills@. (profile_data_r_skill) and to the experience in profiles (profile_resume_r_skill ). We will update our online documentation with the profile schema changes in the coming weeks. Keep a lookout for an invitation from us for an upcoming webinar where we explain the power of r_skills.

For those customers that access the N360 Portal, we will be adding a long requested enhancement. Providing search results inline on the bottom half of the search screen. We will do this first for Profiles and follow with Companies and Offices. Look for this change later this month.

Recent Updates

We continue to invest and expand our data base of Companies, Offices, Profiles and Contacts and Skill Analytics. As a result we have a dynamic collection of data has changed significantly since our July release notes and establish Rhetorik as the Leader in Workforce Analytics.

Most significantly, we have added 6 million company domains to our Company collection. This strengthened our ability to connect profiles to companies, a key lynchpin in the usefulness of our data. We improved the accuracy of 60 million profiles with this change. As a result of these improvements, you may have noticed a large number of profiles with changed profile_id’s.

As we integrated our new sources one of the scripts we use incorrectly mapped the company Social_link (LinkedIn URL) to the Profile Social URL (LinkedIn), as well as injecting poorly formed URLs in the Profile Social_link field, resulting in a number of Profiles with inaccurate data. We have since corrected these issues with the latest release this past weekend.

Absorbing the new sources and addressing these issues knocked us off our game for several weeks, resulting in delays in releasing a complete update to the entire N360 collection available via our API. Customers who consume our data via Snowflake Shares, or have customized data feeds were not impacted.
