Welcome to this Month's Release Notes.

A Profile is a rich data set about a business professional. Each profile has one or more associated experiences, including current and past experiences.

This month, we improved the usefulness of experiences by increasing the number with the correct company name attached to them. We switched our methodology and now default to using the company name in the experience text.

Previously, we relied on a matching algorithm to link experiences to company IDs, our internal numerical identifiers.

This change has dramatically improved the usability of profiles. We updated company names that are connected to  460 million experiences (we have over 1.4 billion experiences in total). Overall, linkage to the company IDs has decreased for experiences by 11%, but the accuracy of the impacted experiences has improved. In the coming months, we will re-establish the company ID linkage for the majority of the records.

Enhancements to our Data Collections over the last six months.

It’s been a busy 2024, so we thought reflecting on how we have improved Neuron 360 over the past six months might be helpful.

• Company Data:

We added 14 million, or 5.2%, additional companies to our Company Files, and we now track over 294 million companies.

• Profile Data:

We increased our profile count by 54 million, a 7% increase in our coverage. We now track over 811 million professional Profiles.

• Office Data:

 We improved our coverage by 14.6 million offices, a 5.2% increase. We now track over 294 million offices globally.

Bugs and Fixes

We continue to improve the quality and coverage of data and have addressed several minor bugs:

Added Exact Match to LinkedIn URL  Profile Search in the API
